Last Magpie is rapidly becoming one of our favorite producers here at Good Bait. His debut (under this alias , at least) , ‘No More Stories EP‘, had us hooked from the off with its nostalgic house & garage vibes, and his latest release on Hypercolour, ‘(Who Knows) Where Love Goes‘, is nothing short of a Balearic anthem that has been doing the biz all summer.

We don’t really know much about Mr Magpie – except that hes from Leeds, currently living in Ibiza and has already found acclaim with another moniker – but we are massively hyped to be premiering his forthcoming release on the ever excellent Losing Suki. 1995 is back on a bass led tip with four cuts that range from 90′s influenced speed garage rollers through to deftly executed STLesque evolovers. Serious pressure across all four tracks, at a push we’re probably favoring ‘Hypno’ and ‘Fallen’ for their melancholic beauty but the quality across this EP should not go unnoticed.
